This sort of comment often results in the sort of long drawn out thread you note here. The page linked suggests several ways of uninstalling modules, did none of them work for you? I find that hard to believe, the code provided by daxim works for me.

If you have a problem, and something doesn't work you need to provide more details as to what happened. The it "does not work" posts are useless, they give people nothing to work with. For the second time today plesae read and understand How do I post a question effectively?.
