One solution that i've seen to fix the reload issue, is to check the title and author of the post, and see if there is already something posted with that title/author. If there is already a post, an error pops up letting you know. Usually, you'll only respond to a specific message once, and each of the submessages have RE: so they are different titles. And if you really intended that post, it's easy as altering the title slightly.
