I had an issue with a module on mini-cpan which itself is parsing for viruses.

In consequence this meant this module had to include snippets from that virus for identification.

Some Anti-Virus-Scanners will just take offence on the existence of such snippets.

Please note: I didn't investigate the module you mentioned.
