In node 147706 I showed a gui mailclient for win plattforms. For "secure" pop3 and imap connections I use the SSL wrapper tool "stunnel" (www.stunnel.org) at the moment.

At http://search.cpan.org/search?mode=module&query=ssl I did not find IMHO a suitable module for connecting my mailserver via ssl.

Does anyone have proposuals/sample code how to implement ssl pop3/smtp connections without external tools? OK OK it should run on win systems too.
