Hi
Here's the Picture:
I have an excel sheet with 13 columns. The first column being the date.
The date is written in mm/dd/yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy. I use
ParseExcel to read from the Excel Sheet and do some manipulations (in Win32).
I have a web-page which accepts data from the user to produce reports from the sheet. Say, I have an entry for 08/18/2003, and if the users enter 8, they should be able to see all the rows which have 8 as the month.
What I want to do is, I want to search for each row in the excel sheet using a pattern from a homepage. The page has three textfields, 'month', 'day' and 'year' respectively.
Can anyone say what is the best way to do is? Even If the user enters 8 as month and 3 as year and no date, then also he should get the report, though the date is both in mm/dd/yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy format
Thanks!
