But I think you phrased the cause of the general rise in clue level poorly. Rather than "attack", "constructive criticism". The difference is not always obvious to the casual bystander, but it is significant. The first indicates that you want to drive out people who want to be helpful but have not (yet) learned enough to give really good advice. The second shows that you want to help people get to the point where good intentions can truly translate into good deeds.
Based on private conversations with you, I believe that you really do try for the second. (Even if you do get understandably frustrated over some issues.)
