I just started learning Perl on a MacG5 running OSX (10.2.8 in case it matters). At the CL, if I run a script which has comments in it, it doesn't appear to run at all...no errors, just returns to a new prompt. If the comments are after the code it runs fine. All of my searching on the web, as well as the Perl man pages on my machine has been fruitless. Any clues? Thanks in advance.
