Thanks for all the answers, I will go for the 4 space indentation since in Vim I have that feature that adds an extra level of indentation for lines ending in { and removes one for lines with an }. Also I configured it that when I press TAB it will insert spaces automatically, so no extra typing needed. Much like the in link with the Krang Coding Standards by samtregar . I also like 4 better than 3 because it's an even number and the power of 2 :).
