Now, that's not really nice, but whether you or I beleive it is not really the point. The point, as I see it, is that the your home page, your book, and venerable Google (when you search on your name) have Perl prominently listed. If I were an employer and wanted to make a quick search of stuff you have posted/published I think "Perl" would be #1. This, whether you beleive it or not, makes you an advocate. Why aren't you writing books on Pascal? Because Perl is great! That's why.
