Well said, GrandFather! One of the great benefits of PerlMonks is being able to ask for help - and feeling a need to simplify the problem as much as possible. I almost always wind up answering my own question, because in the process of simplifying, I isolate the problem and can identify it easily. For every one of my questions that makes it to SoPW, there are dozens that don't get past the part where I'm explaining the problem.
