The following line is giving me jip: 
rename "$dir_and_filename", "C:"."$specific_recipient_directory"."/"."
+$file_names[0]" or warn $!;

[download]
and 
rename ("$dir_and_filename", "C:"."$specific_recipient_directory"."/".
+"$file_names[0]") or warn $!;

[download]
gives me a permission denied error

Update: Problem fixed. Error with the string.
