While I lived in Scotland my dad voted for independence because he thought that England would be better off without spongers sapping its' wealth. I don't agree with that myself, but I can see his point. I think he just got a bit fed up with the whole Scotland is different attitude. I repeat again. It is largely a Victorian myth. It doesn't matter how many down votes I get. It doesn't change that reality.
