This is such a simple problem that I'm almost too embarassed to ask. But here goes:

I want to convert an integer to a letter. How is this done? I want to take "1 2 3 10" and convert it to "a b c j". I thought I could simply take a character, 'a', and add the integer. I think this works, but I need to typecast it. Is this right? Thanks for any help that you can provide.
