I'm using ActiveState ActivePerl 5.8.8 build 822 on Windows XP. I just noticed that when I run a perl program, the CPU Usage jumps up to 100% for the life of the program. Is this expected? Is this a perl thing or ActivePerl?
-----Update: Never mind. Nothing to see here. I thought it was a widespread problem, but just seems to happen with the routines I'm running or the way I'm running them.
