hey, why not drive off in a limo! Check out fsync, the
file synchroni[sz]ation utility. Of course, you won't be any further advanced in learning how Net::FTP
works, but at least you'll get your job done... which
will therefore give you more time to spend learning other
bits and pieces about Perl...
