Hi,
I am new to perl-threads.
Here is what I want to do.
I have a huge file of millions of record. The basic objective is to create different files based on the different patterns of the records. But it takes huge time around 2+ hours to parse the single file and then create different files out of it.
Can we use threads in such a way that, multiple threads will be acting on the million record file so that the time is reduced to few minutes. ?
Please help with a sample code.
