Hi all, Please let me know the best option for extracting text from image. i have gone through many option like tesseract, perl magick, and some perl API like PDf-OCR, CAM-PDF, PDF API12 etc. None of them helped me with a direct solution. Some run only on unix environment, some need to install many supporting packages ect. For me i need to extract text from an image like (jpg, tiff or png) or convert image to HTML which will run on winxp,7 or linux machines etc Please suggest me with some suggestion?
