Just to throw another log in the fire...
This *was* an issue, but I don't think it still is,
as there are more new nodes that anyone can vote on daily -
which is good, because if you have 5 votes and there are
25 new nodes, you tend to dole them out more wisely. Of
course, I tend to spend most of my votes nowadays
marking down empty posts, trying to decrease the
signal/noise ratio...
I wish I could hack at the code for this site sometimes:

Posts are HTML formatted. Put <p> </p> tags around your paragraphs. Put <code> </code> tags around your code and data!
Titles consisting of a single word are discouraged, and in most cases are disallowed outright.
