<pedant>The correct quote is PHP - it's "training wheels without the bike". merlyn posted it at Re: Not Inciting a Holy War although as he put it in quotes I'm not sure whether this means he's quoting what was already a popular meme at the time. I don't know who the original author is in that case. In any event it seems like I've been seeing it pop up for years here and there.</pedant>
