in thread Subroutine for showing the end user the progress of the program

Silly me, I forgot the main place to look. I had only hit google.

This is great though, I posted this question to beginners AT perl DOT org three days ago, but it only took about 5 mins to get a reply here!!

Unfortunately, that means I will be back much more often.

Thanks.

I fail to see how this is a problem ... :-)

Being right, does not endow the right to be rude; politeness costs nothing.
Being unknowing, is not the same as being stupid.
Expressing a contrary opinion, whether to the individual or the group, is more often a sign of deeper thought than of cantankerous belligerence.
Do not mistake your goals as the only goals; your opinion as the only opinion; your confidence as correctness. Saying you know better is not the same as explaining you know better.

      Ha!!

So, I have tested Term::ProgressBar and it looks cool, but I am unsure how to integrate it and call it? Do I just stick it at the top of my program?

      Again, sorry for this

Use it like you would use any module. What problems are you running into?

Can you explain what I do with the code snippets that are examples for Term ProgressBar?

Do you just stick them in my script?

Sorry, I don't quite understand the documentation.
