wackattack has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I just installed bioperl using CPAN. When setting up the mySQL databases options during the install process I entered the wrong username/password. Does anyone know how I can change it. I tried looking through the documentation but couldn't find the answer. Maybe I'm blind.

Thanks for the help!

    hi,

i'm assuming you are running a linux distro.

i'm no perl or cpan expert, but i know you can rebuild the module from a cpan shell which you get by

    #> perl -MCPAN -e shell

the help screen should show you the commands to do this, i would try make clean and then rebuild the module.

    hope this helps
