wook has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello....I've been searching the perlmonks site and there is a really good conversation discusing how to play video(mpg/avi etc) within a perl Tk window......however, all the examples within it call a module that seems to no longer exist. The module is: Win32::MultiMedia::MCI - I need to find an equivilant that I can use.....I want to play video within a frame. I've been searching CPAN and googling with not much luck!

    I found it right here.

Update: Also, if you look here you can get an ActiveState build (check under Win32-Multimedia.zip).
