tk multiline Entry ?

lepetitalbert has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm looking for something like Tk::Entry but for more than one line,
or any method to get multiline user input.

I googled and supersearched but found nothing

Did you really use Super Search before posting this question? If so what did you search for? Perhaps you need to phrase your searches better. A similar question was posted not long ago. From your description GrandFather's advice would seem to be a solution. I Super Searched for 'TK multi line'. Martin	[reply]

A quick look at Tk::Text on CPAN will get you a number of useful widgets, incuding the basic Tk::Text and others with colour higlghting and XML display formatting as well some other nice tricky features. jdtoronto	[reply]

Hello, Yes I really googled and supersearched for 'tk multiline entry' and 'tk text input' and don't remember what else. I know Tk::Text but didn't find how to store the text in a variable.
