Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
I'm trying to use the repeat event in Tk to perform a network call at a maximum rate of approximately 15 - 20 mSec.
As I get to these higher rates of repetition, I see significant losses in repetition rate. Is there a function is Tk that would allow me to achieve these speeds,
or do I have to get away from the GUI to do so?
