Fine questions, but they'll only tell you if someone is technically proficient. That's useful information but in my experience it's not nearly as important as whether the person is a good learner and cares about their work. I'd take a dedicated beginner over a careless guru any day. I still don't know how to interview for these qualities, but I wish I did!
