skullbowl has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I borrowed a book from my library "Perl 5 Interactive Course" by Waite Group Press which promise access to the Perl Interactive Course which include personalized assistance from Perl experts; challenging online exams with immediate grading; access to additional resources and information; an area to interact with other users; a certificate of achievement demonstrating yur successful completion of the course and much more and there's no charge for these dedicated services. However, when i tried to access the website www.waite.com/ezone the page failed to load. Anybody know of the new URL or any other sites that offer similar online interactive course?

(Just a thought - this site has all it takes to becomes an interactive training site with certificates awarded. I do not mind paying a fee for the advises of all the experts here.)

Greetings skullbowl. I too purchased that book a while back. Good book, somewhat stupid site, IMHO. The interactive course wasn't really all that interesting, and I didn't see the value in getting a "certificate" from anywhere. Using the study quizzes contained in the book is just as good (if not better) than using the site.
