I cannot think of a single other profession where qualified advocate performing their skills to the least common denominator.

Although it could be easily argued that the profession does not attract the qualified to begin with since they're smart enough not to go in it in the first place.

I meant profession in the sense of an occupation that requires some level of skill or learning... :) Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error. "Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority". In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice. "Too many [] have been sedated by an oppressive environment of political correctness and risk aversion."	[reply]
