Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a good book to start with for developing web based applications/programs using Perl. FYI, I am a beginner in Perl. I would appreciate any kind of help.

Thanks

Learning Perl immediately followed by Intermediate Perl in the Oreilly series are essential for a strong foundation in perl.

The O'Reilly books are great. PERL in a nutshell or Learning PERL are good places to start. They also have what they call the safari bookshelf which you can subscribe to and have access to all the books online.

Its dated, but I found it very helpful when I was learning Perl and CGI for the World Wide Web, Second Edition by Elizabeth Castro http://www.amazon.com/CGI-Programming-Perl-Gunther-Birznieks/dp/1565924193/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1261270736&sr=8-1
