in thread File upload under Apache2

oh come on - if we are talking about code and APIs then intuitive usability is what everybody is going for. That's simply a philosphy/point of view, whatever you want to call it but certainly not "logical fallacy".

Anyway, in this case it's not about the API of CGI.pm not being intuitive but about the fact that a file "upload" in CGI.pm is a simple read/write and not something involving any network traffic at all which is, at first, not so intuitive. Even reading the manual you might, at first, not quite understand and then ask here for clarification. I can't see anything wrong with that. Anyway, enough for one thread...

Hi, have you stopped beating your wife yet? Oh come on, stop lying.

Do you see how that works? You keep pushing intuition like its the topic of discussion.

If you have ESP, why not answer his question directly?

Could we try to keep personal insults out of this please? Thanks. As you may have noticed, I had answered the question alredy in an earlier reply.
Other than that, I simply pointed out that file uploads in CGI may seem confusing and unintuitive to the beginner and therefore I think it is ok to ask here. The OP had also included code in the question, so for that reason I pointed out that, in my view, the "How to ask a question" link was not quite appropriate. Please note that I didn't shout you down or insult you, but simply voiced my opinion. There is really no reason to insult me.

The op didn't include his new code, so yes, the link was appropriate. If you new code doesn't work, whats your old code got to do with it?

I know it might be unintuitive, but in threaded discussions, when discussing problems with your current code, you should show your current code.

FWIW, I wasn't insulting you or shouting you down, you're simply inventing again
