    Did you look at this ppd file? It doesn't support the platform sanjus specified.

    Thanks but still getting some errors.       This ppd file doesn't support your 64bit platform. Is there a reason you haven't taken my advice and installed from cpan?

        I have never been luck to get the MinGW & Dmake installation on Win7 x 64. I spent another couple of hours today to install MinGW and I still get these errors which frankly I don't understand. Hence the ppm preference.
