We don't even speak the same dialect, yet you're sure that a word I've heard hundreds of times is archaic. Even after I provide you the million results that shows otherwise. If Doctor Who is any indication, next you'll say that "toilet" (the fixture) and trunk (of a car) aren't proper words either cause gee, that's not what they're called in your world.

Like I said about 3 or more levels back: I defy you to find a modern, none-defining usage of it anywhere on the internet!

Globs are big bunches of data types. It's not crazy to think they could have been named after "glob".
