Sorry that doesn't help. That's a search which is specifically what I don't need. I just need to connect to the object using the distinguished name. I can't believe this is hard. It's so basic. I must be missing something. Anyone??	[reply]

Was what you posted supposed to be helpful? I'm not talking about binding to the directory. I'm talking about getting a single entry object based on a dn. Seriously, I posted here because I thought I would find people who would help. Posting vague comments is not helpful.	[reply]
