I have written a module which allows the easy automation of common PerlMonks tasks, such as polling for updates in the chatterbox, checking your XP stats, and sending messages to the chatterbox. The module and some fully functional example programs are available on my web site. Please view the README file first. Please be aware that this is just a first draft, and very much a work in progress. I welcome any comments, suggestions, criticisms, and any other form of feedback you care to give. Just /msg me here on PerlMonks.

...porque es dificil estar guapo y blanco.

update (broquaint): updated "web site" address

    How can I configure it to use a proxy:port for connection ?
      Did you try setting your 'http_proxy' environment variable to 'http://proxy:port'? That's the standard way for LWP scripts.
        True, but the script needs to be told to use the proxy. For pm_login, add this line between lines 18 and 24:
        $ua->proxy( 'http', $ENV{ HTTP_PROXY } ) if $ENV{ HTTP_PROXY };
        I'm sure similar additions can be made to each script that needs it to add proxy functionality.
        Love justice; desire mercy.
