Thanks. It's worrisome that there are bugs 2 years old that are marked critical and have not been fixed. No bug less than 3 years old has been fixed.	[reply]

You worry too much :) look around the bug cue at your favorite project and compare , its really not that many OTOH, lots of the bugs are inherited, Tcl::pTk side-steps the issue	[reply]

Tcl::pTk looks interesting. Unfortunately it looks like I would have to compile tcl from source to get a version recent enough to work (wants 9.0, ubuntu currently has 8.5). Even if I was willing to do that, I don't think my users would be.	[reply]

Why Tkx? And will Tk endure?, TclTk interface with Perl code, is it possible?	[reply]

Thanks for the info. It looks like Tkx doesn't have the same syntax as Perl/Tk, so it's not an option for my existing project.	[reply]
