This can be manipulative, lots of people post a bad answer, a faulty solution, and get some downvoting, they can use that to reap the node and avoid XP loss...

If you post something worthy of being downvoted, an error answer, you should get downvoted for that. Anyway high level monks can consider the node, and other high leveled monks will see about it, and the node would be treated based on the opinion of multiple monks, but being able to quickly reape one's node is a bad idea. ( at least I think so )
