I need to delete certain registry keys and then load the new set of keys in. I am having trouble deleting the keys. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who could help. Thank you monks.

    You're not providing much information, so I admit to making a few assumptions. You should check out Win32::TieRegistry. Look at the "more examples" section - there are examples on deleting keys.

    Maybe we can help, if you post what problem you are experiencing along with some code.
      I don't want to screw up the registry, but I am wondering where to start looking perl to be able to delete keys out. I used a command line process to save the registry from another machine and then to be able to insert them into the registry. But I don't know how to manually delete the keys first. I hope this clarifies what I am looking for.
        There are Win32 primitives to save and load an entire hive. That's probably what you want to "save the registry from another machine and then...insert them into this one".
