        running the 'corrupt' binary produces one of the following 2 outputs

        > seg fault

        > can't locate PAR.pm in @INC...

        seems like the bundled binary is 'losing' some libraries over a period of time

      Then I suggest you look around your office to see who is grinning, because it's probably someone close playing a prank.

        definitely not :)... we have observed this on too many occasions on different servers for this to be a prank...
