wollmers has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
yesterday I reinstalled perlbrew on my Mac OSX 10.9 Mavericks,
- installed perl-5.16.3 under perlbrew
- perlbrew install-cpanm
$ which cpanm /Users/helmut/perl5/perlbrew/bin/cpanm $ echo $PERL_CPANM_OPT $ echo $PATH /Users/helmut/perl5/perlbrew/bin:/Users/helmut/perl5/perlbrew/perls/pe +rl-5.16.3/bin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/Library/PostgreSQL/9.3/ +bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/opt/X11/bin
But cpanm installed suggested dependencies in case of a plain
$ cpanm Minilla
Where does this installation of the suggested dependencies come from? How can I find it? BTW: Yes, there is more than one cpanm installed (System Perl, Macports, perlbrew)
Means: cpanm behaves like the option --with-suggests is specified/configured, but where can I find this configuration?
TIA Helmut Wollmersdorfer
