So you didn't read my post, tell me I'm not quoting people accurately despite it being a literal cut and paste yet you claim I'm the one who is confused and has an inaccurate understanding of what's being said? :P

These statements may have been true at the time of writing, obviously things can move on. As I'm sure you're aware a great deal of content online is no longer accurate. If this is the case and it is recommended for production use shouldn't the section of the documentation I quote be updated to reflect reality?
