hi....I'm stuck. I'm not competent in CPAN's/gcc's compile and link process to diagnose what the problem is.
google says that dmake's error code 129 reflects a mismatch somewhere in the Windows system files.

Here is what you do, download http://cpanmin.us
run perl cpanm DBD::Sybase twice
if it fails to install, cpan will print an error message containing the path of a log file, find that log file (from second run) and copy/paste that
