  1. doing 'set PERLDOC_PAGER=more' at the csh command prompt gives me the same blank screen.
  2. doing 'set PERLDOC_PAGER=less' also gives me the same blank screen.
Perl 5.8.8 on Redhat Linux RHEL 5.5.56 (64-bit)
