This site really is a fantastic resource for learning
perl. However, your original question had several issues
that made it unlikely for people to follow up in any meaningful way. Here is just a short list.
- Nondescriptive title --- "TiHbi5CA" huh?
- You stated that you really weren't interested in learning anything.... if you aren't willing to put any effort into it, why should we?
- Too Long w/o a specific point. Trim it down to the smallest snippet of code that exibits the problem, and then post. Before we could even begin to help we had to wade through 1500 words, not many will follow you that far.
- Smells like spam. Any post about automatic mailers is likely to get trashed, unless you explain upfront why you want to do it. Many of us get *lots* of spam, and we aren't too keen on helping someone send us more.
Please read dominus's suggestions on how to get your questions answered
If you follow his guidelines, I'm sure you'll have a much
better learning experience next time you post here, or anywhere for that matter.

Thank you Blake. I got my question answered, thanks to the
first person to respond, who pointed out that
it was not Perl anyway.
As the the non-descriptive title, I don't know.
It is my password, but don't know how it got there.
REason for saying I did not want to learn Perl is
because whenever I go to a site with techies, people
assume anyone accessing is also a techie, rather than
a mere mortal (grin) who wants to learn enough
to be able to do something but not have to make
the investment in learning a whole new thing. But
point taken.
As to spam smell (I am a vegetarian), I said
in the beginning "The purpose: An online petition, which can easily be modified to send a protest letter to a public official, newspaper. I have a left wing site.
But i realize it may not have been clear.
Thanks for the helpful suggestions. As said, I
found the answer, which was to add this line:
<input type="hidden" name="_1_MailIntro"value="%1">
The email form is at this address, in case someone
wants to see it.
