PPM is not included in the Activestate perl versions anymore.

operable program or batch file.

    It ships with Strawberry, so you could either install it from source and go that way, or see all of the above and consider actually telling us details required to assist with your issue, in lieu of a crystal ball. Strawberry perl and a sensible error report is the path of least pain for all concerned.

      I've been a loyal Activestate user for years and have never had any issues in the past on other operating systems until now. Thanks for the help. I posted the errors above. If I cannot get it to work I will switch to Strawberry.

        Are you using Visual Studio? Active State by default doesn't ship with a sane build environment. Also please mark updates as mentioned in How do I post a question effectively?, linked again... Strawberry, cpanm -vvv Tk.

        I was a loyal ActiveState user for many years, but switched to Strawberry because of the Tk issue. I must admit that I do miss ppm and activestate documentation. The advantage is that Strawberry is very much like perl on unix. Instructions you find on line, in books, and in module documentation almost always work.
