I tried the updated code, but I still get the same result. Did you test the code with QUOTE as the current word and EMOTE as the guess? Don't you see the 1st "E" as yellow?	[reply]

Nope, the problem remains (I entered "sinus" as a guess, and the two "s" are yellow, though there's only one "s" in the word to guess, i.e. "paste"). I think you must have a counter for each letter, to only "lit up" only the right number, starting with the "green" ones.	[reply]
