in reply to LTR character in links

What shortcuts can I use for linking to other information? [metamod://Business::Stripe::Subscription] -> Business::Stripe::Subscription.

Update: even doing this the hard way I can't replicate the problem.Business::Stripe::Subscription -> Business::Stripe::Subscription.

I get the extra LTR characters if I try to follow that link. Don't you?

No. The link provided by PerlMonks is to https://metacpan.org/pod/Business%3A%3AStripe%3A%3ASubscription.

Screenshot of HTML (And no, it contains no hidden/special characters.)

If you get something else, your browser (incl extensions) or your proxy is changing something.

The first link you posted has the strange characters added for me, the second doesn't have them and works fine...

Are they both without the strange characters for you? If so, it's something very strange my end...

I don't know what you mean by strange characters. The first encodes the : as %3A, which is perfectly fine (and sometimes necessary). And both work.
