    i dont want to use print

    o_O

    Well then you'll just have to use syswrite instead. 50 quid says you'll soon change your mind about print.

    Why don't you want to use print? What does the documentation for your chosen module/framework say?

    Seriously, though, why do you not want to use print?

    Other people have asked, plus provided advice, and you responded only to the advice, so I'm asking without giving any advice, because I really want to know what you have against the noble print command. Was your father murdered by a six-fingered print? Did a gang of print statements kill your dog? Did you lose your retirement fund because someone printed bad investment tips?

    What's wrong with print ? I mean you could write your own sub that looks like:

    sub SendDataToClientBrowser { print "Content-Type: text/html\n\n", @_; + } # and then... SendDataToClientBrowser("Hey! What's up!?");

      thanks for the trick
