Hmm, I usually simply don't even answer to people who hide behind "anonymous monk" for this type of comment (I think I have posted as anonymous monk only once, the very first time I posted on Perl Monks, because I wasn't yet aware of the color codes on PM and I did not realize I was not logged in). My post above was just a joke (with a smiley, just in case it wasn't obvious). You're a poor fellow if you don't understand that, I really feel sorry for you. And, to tell the truth, I have used Python for a few years before I moved to Perl, so that I do know quite a bit what I am talking about and I am fairly secure about what I am saying. If someone has gainful employment doing Python you should be happy for them, not sorry. And the best part -- your contributions to this thread are as follows: "I really feel sorry for you. ;-)" "How is your program supposed to guess what to add to make the phone number complete?" Thanks Anon... I know you're trying to protect the integrity of PerlMonks here, and I applaud that. I don't believe for a moment that Laurent_R meant any disrespect, so considering this is based on my post, I'd like it dropped. Granted, the information about the prefixes to be added is now available in the original post, but it was not there when I asked the question, it has been added after I asked the question (and probably added because I asked the question).
