SybPerl to DBI migration

ktn_vrce has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am working on a project to upgrade our perl code. As part of this, I need to migrate Sybase related perl code from Sybperl (DBLib) to DBI and DBD::Sybase modules. Is there any guide that can help me in this migration?
