in reply to Slow day?

Sometimes, on a slow Sunday, I'll come up with an issue I'm working on and just throw a post on SoPW. However, a Monday so slow was kind of weird, and I didn't have anything to spam with :)

Some form of statistics would be nice, but I didn't think for a moment it was an issue with Perlmonks. That said, I did catch a 500 error this afternoon for a few minutes.

Whenever I am waiting for a compile; or a run; or simply need to stop and think before writing the next line of code; there are a bunch of tabs I tend to cycle through and refresh to see what if anything is new. This site is amongst them.

As is this one, which on All Hallows' Eve, became sluggish and unresponsive, which was later explained.

At roughly the same time, PM, whilst not unresponsive -- if anything the opposite -- apparently ceased to show any new input. Hence my question.

In part to see if I could actually post anything; in part, to see if there had been any systematic reason behind the lack of activity.
