1. Leave if you wish. That's up to you. Remain and continue to post nonsense and expect people within the community to do what they have always done. Call each other out when they see something wrong. Most take advice, you continue to ignore it and keep posting rubbish. 2. "Those points had to have come from somewhere", points are given for many things, including logging in, voting on others posts. You seem to care about this more than anyone despite your repeat pontificating to the contrary. 3. "the PerlMonks community sees this happening, knows that it is happening, and continues to do nothing about it.". Registered members aren't doing nothing, they're down voting you for reasons outlined here and elsewhere.

"So, make up your mind.”. You've obviously made up yours, to continue to be a toxic element of the site you pretend to care so much about. Stop posting nonsense. Stop complaining about imaginary "political shenanigans", make a positive contribution that actually has merit. Your contributions drag this site down technically and otherwise.

From a 10,000 foot view his posts come off credible—even authoritative from the deluge of buzzwords, breezy “expertise,” and history—to someone who doesn’t know any better, like new seekers. His posts often need to be countered with more than downvotes. Otherwise it becomes an implicit endorsement; monks generally accept him as a credible peer and at his word. At this point that’s a serious disservice to the monastery. It’s a sad situation but the only one who can fix it is him. As marto was saying, either by taking feedback and corrections and respecting the ethos of the place like almost all of us do or, if that isn’t achievable, ceasing to post.	[reply]
